Communities need a breakthrough strategy for providing artists and non-profit arts organizations with critical operating support, and the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance has taken on that challenge.
Founded in 2012, the Arts Alliance evolved from a shared desire among city and community leaders to make a serious investment in our local arts organizations, artists and creative businesses.
The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to raising money and advocating for our entire creative community – artists, arts and cultural organizations, and creative businesses. We raise money through individual and corporate gifts, event sponsorships, and grants that support community-wide arts efforts.
Our Mission
The St. Petersburg Arts Alliance is the umbrella organization serving this vital arts and cultural community. We do so by driving arts-related economic development and funding, advocating for art and artists, educating at all levels and facilitating the growth of our City of the Arts.
Our Vision
Our vision is to strengthen and sustain the art and cultural community within St. Petersburg through collaboration, economic growth, education, and adequate and consistent funding.
