Well-designed, livable communities promote health and sustain economic growth, and they make for happier, healthier residents — of all ages. In 2016, in affiliation with the World Health Organization, AARP inducted the City of St. Petersburg into the Age-Friendly Network of Communities. St. Petersburg city officials, along with a coalition of community stakeholders, have committed to actively work toward making our community an even better place to live, work and explore for people of all ages.
