Deanna has advanced degrees in flute performance and has performed with orchestras and chamber groups in the Midwest and Florida. She was an instructor at several colleges and universities in the Midwest before coming to Florida. Currently she conducts the Tampa Bay Flute Choir, performs with the Bay Breeze flute ensemble and other local groups, teaches private lessons, and blogs at PracticingFlutist.com, offering techniques and insights for better, easier flute playing.
