Bloom Creative Arts is seeking a part-time Music Therapist to work with children and adults. This position will grow to full time and full and part-time candidates will be considered. At Bloom we believe in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach, creating a strong team between therapists, teachers, and caregivers to best support our students. Our philosophy of love and acceptance embraces students as they are, meeting them in their world. We think “out of the box” to achieve goals and find an avenue of learning that works for the child. The right music therapist will display high energy and enthusiasm for creative arts. The Music Therapist must be proficient in guitar and vocal skills. African drumming proficiency a plus! The position for music therapist offers opportunities for growth and advancement, in addition to a flexible schedule. The Music Therapist must have reliable transportation and will be willing to travel in the Bradenton area. The ideal music therapist candidate will possess outstanding leadership skills as this position will grow to a supervisory position and this music therapist will be considered as the department head.
