My mission as an artist has always been to create the best artwork I can on a daily basis, regardless of the time and effort it takes to get that done.
The first part of my art career I created paintings. Now I have turned toward sculpture as well.
I have created a body of work inspired by the ancient Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi. Wabi-Sabi finds beauty in the imperfections of life and accepting peacefully the impermanence of things. It is the beauty of things modest and humble and the beauty of things unconventional.
The work is created with construction materials and found objects.
The biggest feedback I get from folks who have purchased my artwork is that it makes them feel good, plain and simple, it makes them feel good to have the work in their home or business and be able to see it everyday.
