Position Summary
The School Programs Manager reports to the Senior Curator of Education and is responsible for administering and delivering the Museum’s education programs for school-based audiences (teachers, students and parents/families). This position is responsible for the implementation of all facets of education program delivery, including but not limited to: conception, development and coordination with students and teachers/schools and capturing and analyzing pre- and post-program evaluations.

This position oversees the coordination and delivery of the Museum’s distance-learning initiatives with outreach to schools on local, regional and national levels; develops and strengthens new and emerging relationships; and collaborates with educators to ensure programs meet their needs.

The School Programs Manager works actively across all the Museum’s departments, especially with the Curatorial and Visitor Experience departments, to create compelling educational content & experiences in support of a broad range of interpretive and exhibit projects.
