This is a full-time salary position that manages the overall operations of the Florida CraftArt Gallery. Florida CraftArt is a nonprofit organization located in downtown St. Petersburg that represents the fine craft artists of Florida. The gallery manager is responsible for managing and supervising gallery staff and artists. They are responsible for selecting the art represented in the gallery (along with the Chief Executive Officer and a jury committee) and for continuously improving the artistic and commercial success of the gallery. The gallery manager is also the lead in the exhibition committee with the Chief Executive Officer and lead in all exhibition artists and artwork logistics.
